I always am nervous to make any kinds of online purchases; you never know who you are giving your credit card information to. I started using this great mobile app, CSI globalVCard. It allows me to generate one time use MasterCard numbers on my smartphone or tablet for all of my online and over the phone purchases! It has really eased my fears of credit card theft and helps my business to make mobile payments on the go!

Hi George, sorry for the delay. We're just starting to ramp this site up. To answer your question, it will always be a factor, but the technology has improved enough that it's no longer a "problem." I still wouldn't use it as my primary storage source, but in a backup role, it's perfectly fine.http://opensystemscomputing.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php#comments-form

Thanks, Al. Very useful info. Back in the Day, at Singer-Kearfott/Plessey/GEC-Marconi/BAEsystems the main risk with solid-state memory was the limited number of reads and (especially) writes that such non-volatile memory would allow. Is this still a problem with today's flash drives?

Regards,
George
